Refund Policy
If you would like to apply for a refund please contact the office directly as refunds are made by card machine over the phone.
A full refund (without a charge) will be given if: we cancel the class due to low numbers, change the timing and it is not convenient for you, or tutor illness.
Refunds can only be given in the same term that the course was due to take place.
Requested refunds and exceptional circumstances
In order to sustain the viability of the programme, partial refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances.
Once a course has begun, we will only consider partial refund requests in exceptional personal or family circumstances. Refunds will be considered on a case by case basis.
All requested refunds will be subject to a £10 administration charge, and must be claimed within the term they were applied for. Refunds are given over the phone or in person.
No refund will be given if:
You cancel the course giving us less than 2 weeks notice, or after the 1st week of the course starting. After the term has finished when the refund was claimed.
Course viability:
The length and price of each course is based on a minimum number of learners enrolled to ensure the financial viability of the course.
If we do not reach viable numbers we may give learners the opportunity to decide whether to shorten the course hours for the same fee, increase the cost of the class keeping the same course hours, or transfer to another course.
Adverse weather conditions
We will not issue a refund if the weather means we cancel a class. We will endeavour to add a missed class onto the end of term.
COVID-19 Refunds
If government advice means face-to-face classes cannot continue due to coronavirus (COVID-19), classes will be moved to online provision, where possible. Where this is the case, no refunds will be provided. If classes cannot continue online or from an alternative centre, refunds will be made for the missed session(s).
Private Tuition
Tuition is charged at £35 per hour and must be paid for a week in advance of the class. If you are purchasing in blocks of four, we ask that these are also purchased in advance of the first class.
Please note that cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the class. Missed classes and late cancellations will incur full fee.
