Do you want to know what features your camera has or how to use them?

 

Have you taken pictures and think so what do I do now? 

 

This course will help you! 

 

Learn about:

 

  1. How cameras work.
  2. What is the difference between the different types of cameras, from phone cameras to DSLR and mirrorless cameras.
  3. Why the pictures you take never look right and what you can do to improve. 
  4. The technical aspects of your camera, understanding the exposure triangle.
  5. How to compose a well thought out photo.
  6. Using your camera to make videos.
  7. How to preserve old film photos
  8. Useful camera equipment to own and how to look after your camera equipment

 

You will need a digital camera for some aspects of the course or a smartphone with a digital camera attached, or any other type of camera. 

 

This will be a practical course with hands on use of your camera

Haydn Rees Jones

Haydn has worked for Rossett Extended Schools since 2004 and works as an Adult Education Tutor for North Yorkshire County Council, delivering across a range of vocational and learning for leisure courses. In his spare time Haydn enjoys digital photography and uses Photoshop to enhance his digital pictures. He also is a co-host of a podcast and produces videos on YouTube videos and Twitch.
