My classes are accessible for all physical abilities and levels of experience. I always give full and detailed instructions to allow students to feel empowered and safe in my classes. My teaching style is mindful and gentle but with some deep stretches, strengthening work and moderately challenging flows. I always use breathwork, pranayama, relaxation and meditation and like to introduce aspects of yogic theory and philosophy where appropriate. I want my students to work at their own pace and leave their class feeling energized, calm and centred.

The course will cover  A warm up to prepare your body for the class.  The stretch phase will cover all the gentle yoga poses, working on different areas of your body.  Breathing techniques and relaxation at the end of the class so you can fully concentrate.

Please also complete the health questionnaire and bring it with you to the first session if you haven't done one previously

Zanna Dent

My love of yoga started at a Rossett Adult learning course back in the 1990s. I was looking for a way to help me cope with a stressful job and was instantly inspired by the way yoga made me feel, both physically and mentally and haven’t looked back since!
I trained with the British Wheel of Yoga from 1997-2000 and since then I have taught yoga to adults and children in and around Harrogate in a variety of settings.
I am still passionate about the benefits of yoga for everyone, regardless of physical ability. Yoga is a personal journey for each student, that combines ancient wisdom with more recent understanding of how the body and mind work and I love sharing this knowledge with students old and new.
