This course is for:

This gentle yoga course is designed for beginners who are looking to explore the basics of yoga and improve their overall well-being. Whether you’re new to yoga or wish to revisit its foundational principles, this course will guide you in a supportive, inclusive and welcoming environment.

What to Bring:

For the first session, all you need is a yoga mat (we have spares if needed) and comfortable clothes that allow you to stretch. You may also want to bring a blanket for relaxation at the end of each class.

Course Goals:

This course will introduce you to the foundations of yoga, including simple postures (asana), breathing techniques (pranayama), and mindfulness practices such as meditation. You’ll learn how to reconnect with your body, breath, and mind, while gently improving flexibility, strength, and balance.

The sessions are designed to help you develop a sustainable yoga practice that supports both your physical and emotional well-being, giving you the confidence to enjoy yoga both on and off the mat. By the end of the course, you'll feel empowered to join other yoga classes in your community.

Maisy Gilbert

Hi, I’m Maisy and I will be teaching vinyasa flow yoga classes. Yoga is the perfect way to unwind and relieve stress. Yoga helps me to find calm and I want to share this with you.

I started attending yoga classes as not only do they make the body feel incredible but also make the mind feel just as good. I fell in love with yoga as soon as I tried it, after attending dance classes for many years. I did yoga alongside my university degree and it helped me to unwind.

I then went on to train to be a yoga instructor and have a 200 hour qualification in vinyasa flow.

Since graduating I have been teaching classes at a gym, holding my own classes in studios and at work for staff.

I believe yoga is a great way to relax and de stress, also to build resilience, it has been a huge part of my life and i believe it could be a huge part of yours too.
