Tarot Card Reading - Beyond Beginners

This course is for; Anybody who is interested in understanding the principles of Tarot, card meanings, basic spreads and expanding their knowledge and confidence around reading cards for themselves and others.

 For the workshop, students will need; A tarot deck that follows the Rider Waite format - this is the format that is most commonly found and widely recognised. I encourage use of a deck that is easy to read and small enough to shuffle comfortably, such as Biddy Tarot’s Modern Deck

• A card spread of between 4-8 cards of their own choice, that they will be prepared to read with a fellow student taking around 30 minutes

The workshop will cover:

• A quick recap and refresh - suits, arcana, courts
• Reading for a fellow student and receiving their feedback
• Being the querent for a fellow student, and giving feedback
• Learning the Celtic Cross, performing a spread for a fellow student and also having a Celtic Cross read for you in return.
• Practical and ethical discussion around the art of tarot reading

 By the end of the workshop students should be able to: Perform a tarot spread of their own confidently and have experience of performing a Celtic Cross.
