English floristry using line and form will be focussed on this term with an opportunity to purchase flowers from an English supplier and an optional visit to a landscaped garden in the local area. Each week i will identify different English grown flowers and bring examples that will be suitable to grow in the garden for floristry. The course is environmentally friendly following current trends. You will receive a weekly email of learning points from the previous session and information on what to bring the following week.
Additional costs :
I will provide materials such as floristry tapes, wire, biofoam and chicken wire. The course aims to be environmentally friendly. You will need to bring flowers , greenery and containers from home. Flowers don't need to be of the best quality the focus is about having something to practice with rather than the best quality! Greenery can be foraged from gardens and the countryside. The course aims for you to use containers you already have at home and to learn suitable arrangements for them all.
