Build Your Confidence in Speaking Spanish

Would you like to speak Spanish more naturally and confidently? This friendly and interactive conversation course is designed for learners with a basic knowledge of Spanish (A2–B1) who want to improve their speaking skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Each week we'll explore a different topic through practical conversations, role plays and engaging activities inspired by everyday life in Spain. You'll expand your vocabulary, improve your fluency and gain confidence communicating in real-life situations.

Itziar Villameriel

I am a native Spanish lecturer with over twenty years’ experience teaching across a wide range of settings and levels including undergraduate, AS/A Levels, GCSE and Adult Education, from beginners to proficiency. I have a degree in Tourism and a PGCE in Education from Huddersfield University. In 2020, I completed a double MA in literary translation, and in legal and financial translation from the University of Catalunya in Spain. I have taken part in several research activities and projects with some European Universities such as PEAK “Promoting European Awareness and Key competences". I have also done dubbing projects for Johnsons & Johnsons and “Anna Easy Recipes”.
I am passionate about my job and always strive to make my classes enjoyable and informative – which I think they are!
