“This is a great class for an all body work-out and it also exercises your brain. The exercises include stretching and strengthening work as well as balance and the benefits can be felt in only a few weeks.

A great class for improvers and anyone who needs a bit more of a challenge.

7/10/24: Second week with the “boomerang” balance board, with bare feet. Using the board is testing, not only to balance along its length but also across the width (5”?) - it’s quite a work out for balance! Ideally use slip-on feet guards with a rubberised bottom for grip, hygiene and to cushion the hardness of the board. I struggled with the reverse/backwards slide down holding the ends of the board behind me - this needs work! Another good workout, particularly for balance.
21/10/24: This evening’s session was challenging as Snježana included some higher level exercises, but I feel my balance is improving, as I push myself to cope. I’m finding it easier to put on my socks standing unsupported in the mornings!”

I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology from the University of Zagreb, and after owning
a Pilates studio in Croatia moved to the UK 7 years ago. I have taught Pilates for 20 years, and have a passion for enabling students to achieve strength and mobility essential for everyday life.
