The course will cover linocut printing techniques starting with black and white work and then moving onto using colour and layering techniques including editioning, reduction and transverse cutting, chine colle.
There will be an opportunity to develop a knowledge of expressive use of mark making, colour and composition.
The course is suitable for beginners and will offer a comprehensive starting point for linocut printmaking.
There will be the opportunity to develop your prints from originally artworks of your own or images that you bring with you as well as working from tutor image provision.
