Japanese Upper Elementary

This course is suitable for students who have learned Hiragana & Katakana and basic expressions, like time, verbs on daily life, for the example;  「hachiji ni gohan o tabemasu」(I have a meal at 8 o’clock).

During the course you will learn to:

• Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and basic phrases, aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type.
• Ask and answer simple questions in areas on familiar topics, e.g. daily life, hobby, etc.
• learn very basic kanji.
• Introduce Japanese culture, e.g. daily life of Japanese, seasonal events.
• Understand dates, basic verbs on daily life and basic particle.

 The course is centered around conversation practice. We also will welcome you if you would like to brush up your speaking ability after you have learnt for a certain period time.

 Please don’t hesitate to ask a tutor before if you are not sure which class is suitable for the level of your Japanese.
