Japanese Pre-intermediate (Wednesday)

 

This course is suitable for students who have mastered Hiragana, Katakana and recognize basic Kanji as well as knowledge of basic verb conversion of te-form & dictionary form. We use the textbook “MARUGOTO Elementary A2 activities” in the class and studied up to Lesson6 in the textbook.

 

During the course you will learn to:

• Understand and use sentences with frequently used expressions related to areas of most pre-immediate relevance (e.g. going out with a native Japanese, etc).
• Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
• learn more basic Kanji.
• Introduce Japanese culture, e.g. townscapes and sightseeing sites.
• Understand grammar with more verb conversion.

 

The course is centered around conversation practice. We also will welcome you if you would like to brush up your speaking ability after you learnt Japanese for a couple of years.
