This course is suitable for complete beginners who have not studied the language before.
During the course you learn how to:
- Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases
- Take part in simple conversations when people speak slowly and clearly
- Ask and answer simple questions in areas of immediate need or on familiar topics
- Be confident using common Italian verbs in the present tense
- Write a short, simple text describing yourself
- Fill in forms with personal details, e.g. name, address, nationality etc.
- Understand figures, quantities, times and prices
Students are not required to purchase a textbook for this course.
