This course is for;

This course aims to provide learners with the practical skills they need to produce meaningful and beautiful effects with their digital images. Learn how to use some of the techniques and software used by professional photographers. You will be taught techniques which you can use take your photos to the next level and give them the polish you might expect from a professional.

It is for anyone with a basic knowledge of computers who wants to know how to enhance their digital photos and be creative.

For the first session students will need;

Students will need to have access to their own photographs, notepad and pen.  Students can also bring a selection of their own pictures they wish to use or can use the pictures provided

Additional Costs;

None – although students may wish to purchase the software used on the course at some point, but this is not essential to the course.

By the end of the course students  

Students will have practiced manipulating their pictures to enhance them applying a range of styles and effects.

Haydn Rees Jones

Haydn has worked for Rossett Extended Schools since 2004 and works as an Adult Education Tutor for North Yorkshire County Council, delivering across a range of vocational and learning for leisure courses. In his spare time Haydn enjoys digital photography and uses Photoshop to enhance his digital pictures. He also is a co-host of a podcast and produces videos on YouTube videos and Twitch.
