Taught activities may explore strategies for representing form, structure and surface qualities, in drawing and painting; working from tutor-led exercises, demonstrations, group critiques and examples of contemporary and historical art.
The art room is well equipped with a wide range of drawing and painting materials, though students may bring their own if they wish.
Life Drawing is an invaluable way to learn key skills in art. In addition to adults, the course is open to 6th formers and for A Level students it helps build portfolios for examination and college/university entrance.
