Introduction to Canva

This course is for; Anybody who is interested in using Canva as an easy, creative tool for invitations, posters, presentations and more!

 For the workshop, students will need;

A free Canva account - no need to buy the ‘pro’ version. (this must be set up prior to the workshop by visiting www.canva.com and following the set up instructions so that a basic account is formed).

• A laptop is preferred, or an iPad/tablet otherwise. This course is not designed for Canva on smartphones.
•  A simple idea for a creative project e.g., birthday party invitation or a poster

The workshop will cover:

 A tour of Canva - everything that you can access and enjoy from your account

 

Uploading images to use

 

Resizing images, handy tools

 

Adding text and downloading

  

By the end of the workshop students should be able to: Create basic designs on Canva confidently.
