Concetta Magro

My name is Concetta, but everyone calls me Titti. I’m originally from the beautiful coastal city of Bari in southern Italy, known as the heel of Italy’s boot.

I’ve loved literature and languages since I was young because they allowed me to learn about and connect with people from different cultures. I studied at a Linguistic High School and later earned a BA and a Master’s in literature and performing arts at Bari University, where my passion for storytelling grew and I built skills in public speaking and engaging teaching.

Since moving to England, I’ve worked as a teaching assistant and a private tutor, helping students feel more confident and excited about learning Italian. In my lessons, I like to keep things lively and interactive, with lots of conversation, music, and even some Italian dialects thrown in.

Outside teaching, I’m a qualified aerial yoga instructor who loves dancing, travelling with my partner and two daughters, and exploring new cultures.
I can’t wait to share my energy and love for the Italian language with you!
