German Pre Intermediate

This course is for students who have completed two years of German or have a basic knowledge of the German language and are able to:

- understand sentences and frequently used expressions with regard to personal and family information, shopping, local geography and employment

-  express themselves clearly and coherently on familiar topics and areas of personal interest

-  describe, in simple terms, aspects of their background and immediate environment

-  obtain the most important information from a short newspaper article, everyday advertisements or public notice boards.

 

The course aims to cover the following topics:

-  daily routines and work

-  travelling around town and the different modes of transport 

-  city and country life

-  communicating in the past tense including describing experiences and events
