French Elementary (Year 2) price based on 5 people attending if more enrol the price will go down)

This French Elementary course is designed for adult learners with basic knowledge of the French language. During this course, a range of activities will be used to introduce new vocabulary and structures. By the end of the course students should be able to hold longer and more engaging conversations and have a better understanding of the culture and language.

 

The course aims to improve learners’ communication skills by enriching their vocabulary and expanding their range of expressions. Participants will gain deeper insights into the culture, boosting their confidence to interact with locals and fellow language learners.

 

Those who wish to enroll in this course must have some basic previous knowledge of the language. [talk about themselves, weekly routines and activities, numbers, dates and time, ordering in a restaurant, buying tickets, Present Tense only, verbs avoir and être, some irregular verbs and some basic vocabulary]

 For the sessions students will need a notebook and a folder where they should keep all the material provided.

 Describing your family members, their characteristics, and personality traits

• Understanding and discussing weather bulletins
• Identifying places in the city and asking for/giving directions
• Describing a holiday and making enquiries about available facilities
• Asking about places of interest
• Discussing means of transport
• Exploring types of accommodation and how to book accommodation
• Coping with problems related to holidays and accommodation

• Shopping for clothes and asking about sizes, colors, and prices
• Grocery shopping and asking for specific items or quantities

 

The course will build on the learners’ existing knowledge and skills.
