Course Overview

This course is suitable for beginners and those at an intermediate level. We will focus on using spring flowers combined with woody elements in our designs. During the class we will learn more Ikebana techniques using spring flowers and create structures within our designs.

Additional Costs

You will need to bring greenery and flowers for each session. Greenery can be foraged or taken from the garden, and spring flowers can usually be bought relatively cheaply. I will provide wires, tapes, glue and other materials required for the mechanics. You may also wish to bring your own secateurs.

This course aims to

further develop floristry skills using the principles and elements of design. We will also look at the use of space and proportion in design.
