This course is for; Students who are wanting to learn or refresh their understanding of how to create simple clothing outcomes from basic patterns of their choice.

For the first session students will need; Enthusiasm for learning seams, darts and fabric shaping methods.

Additional Costs; For all following sessions students will need to bring their own pattern, fabric, threads and any other requirements relative to their garment design.  

The course will cover how to work with a commercial pattern, choose appropriate materials, use a sewing machine, select and create appropriate seams, darts and fabric shaping and finishing methods to produce an outcome of choice. 

By the end of the course students should be able to make a simple clothing outcome accurately that has a professional finish.
