WHEN IT COMES TO LOOKING AFTER YOUR BIKE, EVEN A LITTLE KNOWLEDGE CAN GO A LONG WAY. KNOWING YOU CAN FIX A PUNCTURE, SORT OUT A BROKEN CHAIN, AND SET YOUR RIDING POSITION CORRECTLY CAN GIVE YOU A BIG CONFIDENCE BOOST.

This course is for anyone who wants to learn more about how their bike works, and how to maintain it, and how to fix problems.

The course will cover

Giving your bike a full check & tips on set-up.

Basic fixes:

Punctures

Brake Adjustment

Gear Adjustment

Wheel Alignment & Truing

Basic maintenance:

What to oil/grease/lube, how & when

If time permits, more advanced skills:

Chain Replacement

Spoke Replacement

Hub Servicing.

Please bring a bicycle with you if you can or let us know if that will not be possible.

If you enrol you are welcome to bring one family member under 18 with you to the course for Free.  Please let us know if you will be doing this so that we can allocate space.
