Ballroom

Start date: 22nd Sep 2026

Time: 20:00 - 21:00

Cost: £66

Day: Tuesday

Duration: 11 weeks

Tutor: Hazel Robertson

Course code: 26AU102

Choreographed specifically for the dancers who have already attended the Beginners' course, and who have found that sharing the joy of dance with other learners  has brought them fun and friendship.  This sociable class will focus on new steps and more challenges in all the popular dances.  The emphasis is on enjoyment but with a definite goal to achieve new skills and to develop the dance routines.  New figures will be demonstrated and explained in Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Rumba and Cha Cha Cha and the Advanced Foxtrot will be introduced.

Dancing is beneficial for both the body and the mind as it combines physical movement and mental focus in an enjoyable way, and moving to music helps to reduce tension.

Last year's course was just the start, you and your partner can take your dance skills to the next level whilst enjoying a very sociable class with like-minded couples.

Please enrol with a partner.
