Ballroom

Start date: 22nd Sep 2026

Time: 18:50 - 19:50

Cost: £66

Day: Tuesday

Duration: 11 weeks

Tutor: Hazel Robertson

Course code: 26AU101

Learn to dance in a friendly, relaxed and sociable class, where the emphasis is on enjoyment.  All that is required is a 'have a go' attitude.  Join other couples with a similar interest and learn a few basic steps in some of the most popular dances, such as Waltz and Social Foxtrot.

Dancing is good for both the body and the mind as it combines physical movement and mental focus in a fun and engaging way.  It is an excellent form of excercise, so accept the challenge and take your first steps around the dance floor.  Moving to music helps to relieve tension and there is a huge sense of satisfaction to be felt on achieving tnat first dance.

The course will introduce learners to some basic steps in Waltz, Social Foxtrot, Quickstep and Tango and, as the course progresses, Rumba and Cha Cha Cha.

Perhaps you enjoy 'Strictly Come Dancing', or you are looking for a new hobby to share with your partner.  Come and experience the joy of dance, all are welcome.

Please enrol with a partner.
