Babysitting and Paediatric First Aid (Year 8 - 11) NEW

This is a great course to train a young person to be a confident babysitter, and maybe to gain more work as they will receive a certificate which they can show to prospective babysitting clients.

The course content will include:

• The rights of the Family and the Baby sitter
• Accident prevention
• Baby care skills & Child protection issues
• Personal safety, dealing with emergencies in the home
• First Aid including: The recovery position, infant and child resuscitation, choking, dealing with injuries, and defibrillator training

Students will also receive a St John's Ambulance Part 1 First aid and CPR certificate, and a certificate in babysitting competency.
