This course is for;

Adults who want a clear, reassuring introduction to artificial intelligence — especially those who have heard conflicting information and want to separate fact from fiction. It’s perfect for anyone curious about how AI works, what different AI systems can and can’t do, and how these tools can genuinely help with everyday life, hobbies, learning, and creativity. No technical background is required; this is a friendly, myth‑busting session suitable for all confidence levels.

 For the first session students will need;

  • A smartphone, tablet, or laptop (optional — demonstrations will be shown on screen).
  • An open mind and a willingness to experiment.

The course will cover

 A practical, confidence‑building exploration of AI designed to replace confusion with clarity:

  • How AI Works & Dispelling Myths
  • Comparing Today’s AI Systems
  • Everyday Uses of AI
  • Creative Exploration & Personal Projects

Haydn Rees-Jones AI

Haydn has worked for Rossett Extended Schools since 2004 when he taught the European Computer Driving License. He has years of experience in Microsoft Office and delivering training across a variety of subjects. In his spare time Haydn enjoys digital photography, Photoshop, audio and video editing, and watching movies. He also is the founder and host a regular 2-hour podcast and produces videos on YouTube.

He is a Member of the British Computer Society and utilises Artificial Intelligence both personally and professionally for a number of different work and creative endeavours.
