Claire is an experienced registered 500 hour Yoga Alliance Teacher (E-RYT500), a Kirtan Leader and a Clinical Yoga Therapist certified with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). She has been teaching yoga since 2012 as a freelance adult and children's yoga and meditation teacher. Claire began practicing yoga in West Yorkshire and continued throughout her life experiences in both Asia and the USA. Following a 200 hour yoga teacher training in New Jersey USA, Claire undertook further trainings in yoga for cancer and trauma and addiction. Moving to Michigan she spent 3.5 years studying at the Beaumont Hospital’s School of Yoga Therapy becoming a 500 hour Yoga Alliance teacher and a certified clinical yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). Claire enjoyed working with physicians and patients as part of the integrative medicine department. She helped empower patients to manage life limiting conditions, progressing toward improved health and wellbeing, through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga. This led Claire to open the first Yoga Therapy clinic in Michigan with a vision to bridge yoga and healthcare. Having moved back home and in continuing her vision, Claire now owns The Yoga Therapy Clinic Yorkshire specialising in oncology and respiratory lung disease. She also teaches yoga for oncology at Active Against Cancer with the Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust. Claire is also trained in Accessible Yoga and is an Accessible Yoga Ambassador. Leveraging her talents in music, Claire helps people generate powerful vibrational sound waves through singing/chanting that promotes healing, insight and spiritual wellbeing. She spent three years training as a kirtan leader, wrote and recorded her own E.P. Album: Dreams Can Come True, consisting of sacred Sanskrit mantra and English lyrics.
