This course is for;– beginners

For the first session students will need;   yoga mat and blanket, we have a few yoga mats available to borrow.

The course will cover;

Development of the roots to prepare you for your yoga journey, in this 12 week introduction to yoga series, you will learn basics of yoga philosophy, sun salutations, standing poses, and gentle backbends. You will also be taught how to modify poses so that you can confidently attend mixed level classes while keeping yourself safe.  Class size is limited allowing for individual attention and questions.  

By the end of the course students should be able to - have knowledge of main yoga postures and be able to integrate into a variety of classes with confidence.

Lou Moore

Lou first attended a yoga class over 20 years ago, and instantly knew that it would become a way of life and spark a passion for sharing the many benefits of this ancient healing practise.
She trained with the British Wheel of Yoga and Dru Yoga, and has since gained further specialist qualifications, including Pre/Post Natal Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Trauma-Informed Restorative Yoga, Menopause Yoga, Yoga for Cancer, Breast Cancer Post-Op Rehabilitation and Women’s Circles.
Lou began teaching in 2007 whilst navigating her own journey in to motherhood, and has taught at a wide range of settings, more recently providing mentoring and support for other teachers. She has a particular interest in women’s health, and ensures all participants feel part of a supportive and friendly community. She loves to blend a seasonal and elemental focus in to her classes, creating balanced and inspiring experiences.
When she is not teaching, Lou likes walking, live music, snowboarding and travelling. She has recently rediscovered a joy for roller skating... no broken bones, so far!!!
