A friendly and welcoming class suitable for all ages and fitness levels.  This class will introduce you to this ancient Chinese exercise system based on an internal martial art.  It can help with posture, balance and general fitness.

Ruth Hampson

Ruth began studying martial arts in 2003, studying Fujian White Crane whilst living in London. In 2005 she visited China to study with three different masters in external (hard) and internal (soft) styles. She moved to Harrogate in 2010 and in 2013 started training in Liuhebafa, a form of taichi, with Stuart Agars and Master Hui Kit-Wah. She teaches women-only, mixed and one-to-one classes. In her spare time she loves Chinese literature and films and is learning Mandarin.
