This course aims to

Provide a safe and beneficial form of exercise that will improve posture and increase core stability. It is delivered via Zoom

Pilates is a body conditioning form of exercise that targets deep postural muscles, which help to protect and stabilise the spine. It provides a safe and beneficial form of exercise that will improve posture and increase core stability.

The class is a beginners class.

Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. As it is a mat class the ability to get up and down off the floor is essential.

All new students will need to complete a health questionnaire here and return to adultlearning@rossettschool.co.uk before the first class. 

Please conatct your GP to check the suitability of the class if you have any concerns.

For the first session students will need

Please bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing that allows the body to move. Shoes are removed so please wear clean socks

Pilates is an invigorating exercise method for your body and mind that helps improve strength, flexibility, mobility, overall health and sense of well-being. The exercises will be adapted to your needs. As your body strengthens and your body awareness improves, the difficulty of the exercises will gradually increase, all at a pace to suit you as an individual and as a group.

Laura carney

Laura Kennedy

Laura is passionate about functional training, fitness, health and feeling great. She has a level 3 diploma in Mat Pilates. Having practiced Pilates for over 15 years and taught for 3 years she has a wealth of experience and knowledge combining her skills together to deliver a fun, low impact but effective workouts with rapid results. She targets every muscle of the body during each workout and draws a lot of attention to technique and posture during her sessions ensuring her clients are safe.
It is her mission to transform you into a healthier, fitter and better version of you with the belief that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind.
