Learn to create a small blanket or wall hanging.

We will start with the planning of the quilt, choosing which style and colours you wish to use. We will learn the cutting techniques, creating templates to fit each panel, the joinin techniques involved and finishing styles.

Materials will be provided, and if you have any fabric pieces which you would like to use or base your piece around, please bring along and we can use within your creation.

This is a really nice opportunity to create a memory piece.

Lucy Chaplin

Fibre enthusiast, contemporary knitting and crochet addict. I dye my own yarn and create my own designs, never to be seen without a hook or needles!
Crocheting and knitting for several years, very much inspired by the retro style of the 1960/70’s. Love the midcentury modern style of decor, crochet and knitting which fits in very well with the current trends.

Knitting and crochet can be described as ‘Yoga for the mind’, taking time for yourself to craft is fantastic therapy and rather addictive!
