The human figure is an ever changing challenge and is brilliant subject to practice and develop any artists drawing skills.
This course aims to address the detail in the figure and areas that are sometimes skirted over due to their complex form.
Focusing on the Hands, Feet and Head will give students an opportunity to gain confidence in their drawing skills as they learn to break down the complexities in these areas.
Using Charcoal and Water Soluble Graphite students can progress their hand to eye co ordination, observation and mark making skills by figure drawing.
This course is for beginners or advanced learners who want to build their core skills and become more confident with drawing techniques through drawing exercises and different mediums in a supportive learning environment.
Art is a continual learning process and this course would also give previous students the opportunity to progress their skills further, whilst exploring new techniques.
The course will cover: Warm up drawing exercises, working with perspective, value and structure of the head, Hands and Feet to increase confidence in the approach of the whole figure.
By the end of the course students should feel confident with their progress using a range of materials and be able to judge, create and assess accurately with different mediums.
