Start date: 9th May 2022

Time: 19:00 - 21:00

This 3 week course is about learning to make specific projects, as described below. It is quite advanced and is more suitable for those who already have some experience of jewellery making. It requires the use of pliers and other hand tools, fine work and very small beads.

However accommodation can be made for beginners by offering partly pre-prepared pieces to complete.

Week One

Making dragonflies using specific types of beads including sword briolettes and long bugle beads.

Week Two

Creating the framework of a brooch sized bumblebee then infilling the shape using tiny seed beads and fine wire.

Week Three

Creating insects from wire alone with hanging loops. This will be a necklace and earring set. The pendant will be on a chain.

Please bring reading glasses if you wear them.
