In this strange new world there is much we can still do to be creative online. During our sessions we will explore Shakespeare sonnets, puppetry, melodrama, improvisation and play/ sketch reading.
All this will be done in a friendly and supportive way ensuring you feel comfortable and get the most out of your course

A five-week online drama course

In each session we will play a few online adapted drama games to get us laughing and warmed up! It will certainly be a bit different!

1. Fun evening of Improvisation
2. Introduction to the genre of melodrama
3. Simple study and reading of Shakespeare sonnets
4. Playing with puppets
5. Short play reading.
Using zoom and break out rooms we will play with the different aspects of drama.
What will be needed is a sense of fun and an ability to embrace drama in an online way. For some sessions there may need to be a few props or resources.
We may email you play scripts. Or you may need newspaper and Sellotape/old sock for the puppet session.
