This course provides a taster into jewellery making using wire, beads and other materials.  In order to maximise what you learn the course is project based.  It requires a moderate level of dexterity and the use of tools including wire cutters and pliers.

The second week concentrates on forming wire loops and spirals, which can be used in a multitude of ways.  You will complete up to 4 pairs of earrings to take home.

For the remaining weeks, we will use the skills learnt to develop your skillset, and make a colourful charm bracelet and versatile chunky brooch pin.

All materials are provided.

Sarah Hallworth

I have been teaching for many years both in jewellery making and my previous occupation, respiratory nursing. For the last 6 years, I have run jewellery making workshops for both adults and children. Jewellery making has been a hobby/obsession for 3 decades.
