This course will introduce art history and its evolution from Pre-Renaissance to  Renaissance, analysing masterpieces by Giotto, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, Titian, etc.

This course aims to introduce the learner to the basics of how to look at works of art. It is for anyone who is interested in art, especially for those who feel unsure about how to start to look at art. And for those who enjoy going to art galleries.

Sabrina Casarin

Sabrina Casarin has studied Italian Language and Literature at Venice Ca'Foscari University and specialised in History of Art at the University of Milan. She teaches Italian at Rossett Adult Learning and Leeds Beckett University and is also an examiner for the International Baccalaureate. Her extensive knowledge of the History of Art enables her classes to be engaging, amusing and very enjoyable.
